Unified Marketing was founded by marketing maven, Bryan Crum. He has 25+ years experience in all aspects of marketing, with a focus on early stage markets and paradigm-shifting technologies.

He’s got a track record of delivering triple-digit increases in lead generation, media awareness, clients, and revenue.

Deep experience

Before webinars, online meetings and screen sharing were commonplace, Bryan successfully branded and positioned Communicast as an early industry leader. This spotlight drew many exit options for Communicast founders, who were successfully acquired.

During a time in healthcare when medical films and floppy x-rays were king, Bryan successfully rebranded and positioned RADinfo Systems as a pioneer in digital medical imaging — setting them up for a decade of record growth.

He began his marketing career as an Account Executive for Focused Image, Inc., a high-end marketing communications firm.

Unified Marketing is currently helping clients disrupt the multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity industry with two paradigm shifting concepts — software defined perimeters to cloak infrastructure and digital risk management to mitigate what matters to executives.

At Omnilert

As Vice President of Marketing, Bryan grew Omnilert into a tech powerhouse by developing, positioning and promoting the Omnilert brand and four customer-facing brands — e2Campus, Amerilert, RainedOut and uTip The Bully Buster — into industry leading services.

First, he positioned the company within the emergency notification systems market. Then designed brands for each niche market and told their story through PR, until a tipping point was reached and the markets flourished. Later, he repositioned the brands with the maturing markets – winning awards and analyst recommendations. Next, he built marketing automation and marketing accountability into the programs. All this time, the marketing adapted with changing media consumption habits. Finally, a content marketing machine was added to extend marketing gains.

Omnilert’s brands received coverage on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, CNET, eWeek, and many more. The company grew from 1 client to 20,000+. Omnilert’s revenue exceeded 1000% annual growth and continues double-digit growth nine years running.

While employed by one of the world’s largest systems integrators, EDS (now HP Enterprise), he was a member of the “Best Overall Marketing Team” as recognized by the EDS GEM Awards.

In 2004, the American Marketing Association, DC Chapter awarded Bryan as Member of the Year. Bryan is a current member of AMA and the Social Media Club. Previous memberships included Netpreneur and Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).

Bryan has spoken at conferences and in radio interviews, has published many articles, and has guest lectured at Georgetown University on marketing and start-ups.

Bryan received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication and a minor in Fine Arts.
