Government Contract
EDS GSA Schedule

Role:
Employee, project manager, copywriter and sales
person.
Purpose/Objective:
As an employee, promote the EDS GSA Schedule to
government buyers as the best source for IT solutions
(as opposed to products). Develop contract overview
sheet, 44-page buyers guide, web site content,
trade show coverage, provide input for an advertising
campaign, and acquire funding from EDS partners
to cover the costs.
Skills:
Created budgets, wrote copy, sourced with internal
and external suppliers to develop designs and
printings, installed and staffed trade show booths,
sold advertising space, produced financial reports,
and collected funds.
Results:
Delivered a win-win situation for EDS and participating
partners. By collecting the needed vendor funding,
EDS was now able to promote their GSA Schedule,
while the participating partners gained valuable
market exposure and positioned themselves as important
partners with EDS.
